...you open the door?
I was offered to join another industry. It's totally different from what I am doing right now, it's challenging, it's interesting, and it's something I always wanted to do.
I always told Kevin I shouldn't be doing this, I should have joined other industry. He understands, he truly understands my feelings.
Now, I have an opportunity to explore another industry, Kevin is very supportive...but I'm confused...is this really what I want? I'm a little scared...I'm a little worried.
I know I have to prepare for uncertainties, future seems to be very confusing, and rather...frightening
When opportunity knocks, are you ready to open the door?

Sounds very exciting. Whatever decision you make, I'm sure you'll make the best of it. Good luck! :)
There's really no right or wrong answer to your dilemma V V. The only question is which Violet you want to be true to. No matter which decision you make, it won't be the end of the world. What matters is taking the path that you can sincerely give your heart to...and putting all your energy into that to make it a success. That way, no matter what happens, you will have no regrets. Sure you can take no action at all, and let the opportunity expire on its own...but then you'll always have to live with yourself knowing you didn't even try.
We all know Kevin supports you body and soul. He's not just hoping you can find something to keep your body occupied, but also something you can put your heart into as well. So if I have any advice at all, I'd say that you should step out and give that new opportunity a try. No matter what, you will have Kevin to support you. AND, if you decide that industry is not right for you, you can always try to sweet-talk Kevin into taking you back to your current position. ^_*
Imagine all the interesting conversation when you can each share the events of your days. Right? Most importantly, have confidence whatever you do...and I hope you can put your heart into whatever that may be.
I haven't said anything here that you haven't already said to yourself. So good luck my friend! We're all pulling for you.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I think the best results I've gotten were when I said yes. But, as Dr V said, only when my heart was in it.
Okay, maybe they weren't the best decisions, financially, but there are many ways to keep score, and in the end, only you can tell how well you did.
This summer, I said yes to the biggest opportunity I've ever been presented with. I thrilled that I'm taking the risk, and I believe it's absolutely the right thing to do. But have I lost sleep over the choice? Well, a nap or two has been cut short by the implications - and that's normal. Opportunities present challenges, the create change in us and around us. Change is unsettling.
Kevin will support you, your family will support you, we will support you as much as we can. To enjoy the flavor of life, take big bites. I wish I had done so more often. I'll warn you though - it can be addictive.
Take care!
Mike
Hey guys!
I really appreciate the comments you made :)
I think...I am going to open the door, just a little more time, need to clean some stuff! ;)
Sounds quite exciting Violet - I'm very happy for you. All I can say is find your passion and make it your life. It's so nice to wake up in the morning and be excited about going to "work" each day. That's worth more than people can imagine who haven't experienced it. I hope whatever this is may become that for you...
